Headmistress Faragonda - Does she know more than we think she does?

Hello Winxers! I'm back with another theory. This time, it's going to be about something that I realized when I was watching the seventh season of Winx club all over again. Want a hint? It's about Faragonda. Throughout the series, she has been both friendly and mysterious at the same time. We all see her as the lovely headmistress of Alfea, but when you take your mind all the way back to the very first seasons, she has lied or kept secrets from the Winx girls on many occasions, especially from Bloom. While asking the question "Well then, who is Bloom?" in season 1 episode 2, she has shown us that she knows more about Bloom than Bloom herself later on in the season. Why is that? Is Faragonda hiding something from us?

We're going to start our little research on Faragonda in the seventh season. We see her in her youngest state we have ever seen her in, a beginner (first year's?) fairy. Although we don't really know in what fairy level Faragonda is at that point in her life, it's almost safe to say that she doesn't have her Enchantix yet. How do I know? Because it was revealed to us that Griffin came to Alfea before Faragonda got her Enchantix, as she told Stella and Layla that she wasn't able to beat her anymore in season 3, meaning that she was able to beat her before that time, so she must have known Faragonda before she got her Enchantix. We didn't see Griffin in season 7, but of course, she could've been somewhere else. That's why it's almost safe to say that Faragonda is either a Winx or Charmix fairy in season 7.

We also know from the seventh season that Faragonda has met the Winx club girls when they traveled back in time, getting to know their names and seeing an older version of what they look like in season 1, when she supposedly first meets the girls (except Stella, whom she has already met, and Layla and Roxy) for the first time. But, as we know now, that is not entirelly true! She has met them before, in her past. Long, long ago, that is, but maybe she didn't forget about it. I'll tell you more about that later, because I think this is actually one of the clues to her knowledge about Bloom. (And this might also be why Faragonda didn't really take any action to get Roxy to join Alfea, as she already knew she was going to join the other girls all along.)

Next thing we know about Faragonda is her being in the Company of Light, probably right after she graduated from Alfea. We know from the film "A magical adventure" that Afran got destroyed 18 years prior to season 4, so that means that Faragonda was both in the Company of Light and headmistress of Alfea at the same time, as it is revealed in season 6 that she had been headmistress for 100 years! Most of that time, she has probably spent on Domino, if she isn't from Domino herself (which could be true, we don't know where she's from) as she even knows the stories the people of Domino tell to their children, as told in "The secret of the lost kingdom" and in season 1, she tells Bloom the history of Domino. Either she has learned that in History of Magic class, or I've found another lead.

Now, things are going to get really interesting. Bloom was born at around the time Faragonda was in the Company of Light and Faragonda must've been at Domino around that time, seeing the kingdom was at war with the ancestral witches around then. That means that Faragonda must've seen little baby Bloom and must've known about her name, maybe even seeing her big, blue eyes at the same time (and maybe even vaguely remembering a girl with the same name and the same eyes from when she was younger? #season7). Skipping forward to around 16 years later, Bloom comes to Alfea for the very first time and Faragonda, who probably thought little baby Bloom had died along with her parents and her older sister Daphne, gets a little confused. (Also, I'm truly convinced that Faragonda knew Daphne from before her death, because otherwise she wouldn't have invited her to teach History of Magic all of a sudden at the beginning of season 6, just after she got alive again. I mean, it's not like Daphne was really looking for a job, was she?) Anyway, I'm getting of track, back to Bloom. When she joins Alfea and Faragonda remembers that cute little baby that she believes has died 16 years ago, the question she asks right after figuring out Bloom is not from Earth: "Well then, who is Bloom?" suddenly makes a lot more sense!

But the story doesn't end right there. Faragonda begins researching Bloom, rapidly finding out everything about her powers and her past, suddenly realizing that the baby she remembered might not have died after all. When Bloom goes to the library in season 1 episode 10 and searches for Daphne, it is no surprise that Faragonda denies her all access all of a sudden. Faragonda is still researching Bloom herself, so it is quite logical that she doesn't want Bloom to discover anything yet. Faragonda is puzzled, her mind all set on finding out the truth and maybe even finding Bloom's parents again, who played a big role in Faragonda's life 16 years ago. She actually knows more than Bloom does, but she wants to protect Bloom from discovering the truth too fast. Most likely because Faragonda was very close with both her parents and her big sister and she feels a sense of regret for not being able to save them 16 years ago.

So, that was all for this time. I hope you enjoyed my talk/theory about Faragonda. If you have anything to add or anything you (dis)agree with, feel free to tell me in the comment section and also, please tell me what theory you'd like to see next.
