Requested: Winx theory #2
What if Roxy hád moved on in the series?
She is almost everyone's favorite fairy, at least so it seems. Her ability to truly understand animals makes her special. She has helped the Winx club girls many times and the Winx fandom went crazy when she didn't "join the club" in the fifth season. Yes, we're talking about Roxy. This little girl has been stuck in the same civilian outfit and the same transformation level for three seasons long. But I'm not here to complain about why she's not a part of the club and I'm also not going to explain what we are all wondering: whether she's a Magic Winx or a Believix fairy (or neither?). No, I am going to tell you about my theory/idea/opinion on what would have happened if she hád moved further in the Winx club series. Meaning: I'm going to talk about her room, roommate and her bondings. No, I'm not going to talk about her transformations, there's plenty of fanart for you to take a look at. I'm merely going to give my opinions on how she would reach (some of) the transformations.
Room
The entrance
As we know from the seventh season, you can see magical globes when you enter Roxy's room. Whether they have always been there or if she just placed them there for the search for Fairy Animals, we don't know. There are books and plants and I personally love the origami on the wall behind the globes. There's some kind of mirror right next to the door. It's not really necessary to say all that much about it, you can see it for yourself. I, for one, am glad we got to see her room in the seventh season. It truly added something for her.
Roommate
Those who know me a little better, know that my favorite sidecharacter in Winx club is Mirtha. But I didn't put her here just because she's my favorite, I truly think she would be a great roommate for Roxy. Both Mirtha and Roxy have gone through a major change in their lives and got through it because of the Winx girls. Their style of clothing is kind of similar. Also, I think Roxy is one of the only ones who could truly appreciate Mirtha's humor and who would support her in her ideas to unite fairies and witches. Mirtha would be able to help Roxy get through the beginnings of becoming a fairy. It has been hard for Mirtha since she was a witch at first and transferring to a fairy probably wasn't without failing. I believe Mirtha could help Roxy when she would fail with her magic in the beginning or when she'd want to go home again.
Roxy's side of the room
Have you ever noticed that Roxy's room has a lot of plants that can remind you of the pumpkinplant? The orange thing under her bookcase even looks like a pumpkin. Maybe Rainbow is hinting us her roommate actually is Mirtha. Or maybe I'm just seeing things that aren't there XD.
Anyway, I love the style of her room. It reflects her in a lovely way. I'm very fond of the over-all design. It's soft and girly, yet not too girly for Roxy as it still gives me an animal vibe. Again, there are mirrors, which I think reffer to when Morgana was trapped in a mirror. I really like the room's design, it's one of my favorites in the show.
Season 5
Assuming Roxy's fairy form in season 4 was her basic transformation, I believe she would have reached her Charmix level-up in her second season, which is season 5. She didn't do this in season 4 already like Layla did with her Charmix in season 2, as she wasn't as used to her powers as Layla was before she joined the group. Because of Roxy developing her powers only near the middle of the season, she didn't have enough time to get used to her powers and therefore she did not level up that same season. As Charmix is reached when a fairy does something courageous, Roxy's Charmix would probably be reached by her standing up for an animal in need. It could be something like when she rescued the crow who was actually Griffin in season 6, but then set in season 5.
Of course, we can't forget about little Zing here. I am very convinced that if Roxy had bonded with her own Pixie, it would've been Zing. That is, of course, assuming Rainbow wouldn't create a completely new Pixie for her. That would sadden me though, as I would rather see Zing bond with her. I think they are perfect for each other. Roxy is the fairy of animals, Zing the Pixie of bugs. Roxy is rather uncertain about herself and her capabilities while we have seen Zing doing a lot of courageous things, even if that meant crossing the line of her own capabilities. Roxy could help Zing when she is about to do something stupid again, by talking her out of it. In the meantime, Zing could help Roxy getting over her fears. They are both a little more straight to the point and their styles match too, in my opinion.
Season 6
I think it would be interesting if Roxy got her Enchantix by safing either Morgana or Nebula, but I believe it would be even more interesting if she got her Enchantix by safing Selina in season 6. If it were set after Selina's turn to the good side, maybe Selina would even join Roxy and Mirtha in their dorm. I mean, she does fit right in. Her style matches them and she also knows what it's like to change from fairy to witch and back. She would only strengthen their group. Mirtha and Roxy could get her through the worst part of being stared at for being the 'witch that almost destroyed the whole universe' and maybe Selina could teach Roxy and Mirtha something about her fairy magic she learned from Eldora. I don't think I have anything else to add for season 6, so we're just going to skip to season 7.
It would be nice though if her fairydust was shaped like a paw or a claw.
Season 7
Believix, uhm... That means going back to Earth, right? Well, at least she already has a Love & Pet. Well, when you think about it, Believix is all about making someone believe in fairies and/or in magic. It wouldn't be such a bad idea if Roxy helped Selina believe in herself, so she can become a real fairy again too.
Also, her Sophix spell could be something like: Wild Life
And her Lovix could be: Polar Paws
The Believix power is a power that I think would be really dear to Roxy, as she helped the Winx get theirs by believing in them.
After that...
There's not much to say about her earning her Harmonix or Sirenix, it's pretty mucht the same for everyone, so we'll just skip that part. I want to talk about Phylla. As the guardian of the portal of the ocean of Earth, she should be bonded to the last fairy on Earth, right? She is also very talkative and talks about herself in the third person. Her behaviour is mostly instictive, like an animal. I think she would fit Roxy, even if she isn't actually made for Roxy.
If she ever was to earn her Bloomix, I think Bloom would be more than happy to share her Dragon Flame once again. She would do that for her friend Roxy. Also, as the true heir to the palace of the Earth fairies, I think no one would keep her from coming there to find her own Mythix staff, although I wonder what she would have to use it for since the Legendarium book is closed...?
We have already seen them in season 7, but it would be lovely if Roxy bonded to these little Yaffles as her Fairy Animal(s?). They could help her rescue a lot of animals all across the universe.
Earning her Butterflix would be like a dream coming true for Roxy. A transformation as close to animals as Butterflix, just perfect harmony for the fairy of animals. The only thing that would probably bother her like crazy, is the fact that she would be wearing a really girly dress XD.
We're going to end this long theory/idea with Tynix. To be able to help animals in the mini-worlds would probably be just as amazing for Roxy as reaching Butterflix and helping them in the 'normal' world.
So, that's it for this time. It isn't really a theory rather than an idea on what could've happened if Roxy had moved on in the series.
I want to thank @the.chillix.roxy for requesting 'a theory about Roxy'. It might not be what you had expected, but I do hope you enjoyed it. I just didn't want to do the same theory about Roxy that a lot of Winxers before me have done as well: Her fairy form. Well, this ís different. I totaly love this, I never thought Zing would be the pixie of Roxy, I personaly thought it would've been Sam, the pixie for hairdressing or so, the first episode of PopPixie ;) Roxy isn't as girly as all other fairys like u said ;) maybe ur next theory can be about Daphne cause as I noticed Daphne was ment to be the mother of Bloom instead of sister :/ kind a weird I guess cause their are 7 nymfs, that's what Bloom said in season 1 "the day of the rose" or something like that... my question is: "who are the other 6 nymfs ?" Or are the winx the other 6 nymfs cause nymfs aren't the same as gardium fairys, or however you spell it tho ;)
